This page gives us the opportunity to introduce the pastor and key staff members. We may use a format similar to the one below.

Presiding Prelate Dr. Bishop Robert E. Houston

  1. Acts 1:20
    For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

  2. Philippians 1:1
    Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

  3. 1 Timothy 3:1
    This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

  4. 1 Timothy 3:2
    A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

  5. Titus 1:7
    For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

  6. 1 Peter 2:25
    For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Happily married

"Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.   Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands (not someone elses), as unto the Lord.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband"

Presenting to some and introducing to others, Bishop Dr. Robert E. Houston Ph.D.
He graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and Morning Star Bible Institute in Cleveland, OH, with a DRE, a Bth, and a BD.
Being under the strong, strict guidance of his Father, the late Bishop John J. Houston Sr., they both worked faithfully and deligently with the New Testament Apostolic Assemblies Ministry out of Decatur, IL - later moving the Organization to Omaha, NE.  He is happily married to Evang. M. Houston his (helpmeet) wife, lover & loyal companion.  She has attended Tarrant County College and graduated from NEC for Business Operations in Fort Worth, TX.  She is an ISA II,  with the State of IL and has also designed this website.

Jesus is the Rock! He is solid and stable and will not change. For this reason we can trust Him and believe the Words He has spoken to us. If He said it, then that settles it. It is truth because He cannot lie. If He said it and we believe it, then faith in His Word will produce those things that are promised to us in the Bible. Knowing only portions of the Word can cause us to become imbalanced. We must seek to know the whole truth and be completely surrendered to the will of God for us to be victorious and successful Christians. Stressing one portion of God's Word will invariably produce prayer failures.

This is the reason for many "faith" failures today. It is not so much people's lack of faith that fails to produce the answers they are seeking, but their failure to apply other portions of God's Word.
